Steve Bowyer

Steve was born in the late 1950s and was raised in a small town near Toronto, Canada. He studied engineering and moved to the USA in the late 80’s with his wife Karen.

Steve was led to Christ through the ministry of a Maryland PCA church to his family. Steve and Karen moved to Tucson in 1995. They joined Desert Springs Presbyterian Church at that time, then Steve undertook PCA leadership training and was ordained as a deacon in 1997. Their children were homeschooled for a few years before they began attending a PCA Christian high school.

Steve and Karen continue to participate in church life at Desert Springs, and are blessed to be able to watch their family grow as their children enter adulthood and establish households of their own.
